So here are some answers to frequently asked questions about the church to give you a picture of what Journey Church looks like week to week and hopefully address issues important to you.

What kind of people make up Journey Church?

What you will find when you attend Journey Church is a diverse biblical community where people seek to know and love God, live in community with others and transform the world by serving in our city as we think Christ would. Practically speaking, that makes that some of us are just checking out Christianity for the first time, while others have been in church our whole lives. Journey members span different ethnicities, ages and backgrounds. Everyone is welcome here!

What time do services start?

Our Sunday morning service starts at 10:30a.m. But if you slip in from 10:15-10:30a.m. you will find hot coffee and donuts in the lobby!

What if I'm not used to going to church?

You are the reason Journey Church exists! We want to be a comfortable place for those who are curious about God but have never felt comfortable in church. We want Journey Church to be a place where you can learn, apply and wrestle with who God is and what He wants for you. It's okay if you don't have it all figured out yet.

What will the worship service be like?

Journey Church is a place where we like to keep it very simple. It's relaxed, but focused. We don't need to be flashy or put on theater productions for people to meet God. We believer that Jesus is enough. No matter where or when you attend, we follow a basic pattern of meeting together that is traced back to the early church. We teach from the Bible. We pray, we sing, and on occasion we take communion. The goal through it all is to love God and know him better by making God's unchanging truth accessible without watering it down.

What should I wear?

At Journey Church, you are welcome to wear whatever you like. There is no set dress code, although the attire is more on the casual side. Just be you.

What about my kids?

Journey Church is a family-friendly environment. We believer that children are a blessing from God and should be taught about God in a fun learning environment. We have nursery facilities as well as children's church services.

Can I invite my friends?

Please do. We seek to be a welcoming environment for people who are curious about Christianity or who are seeking to belong to a local community of believers.

What kind of church is Journey Church?

We are an interdenominational Christian church which basically means we have a ton of people from all different backgrounds.
